🌱 Planting & Seasonal Information
Plant your Tiger Lily immediately upon arrival. Do not store the live bulb.
These Tiger Lilies have already bloomed for the current season and are being sold for establishment and future-season blooms.
Your plant will arrive trimmed, and any remaining foliage may yellow, discolor, or completely die back after planting. This is normal and does not mean the bulb has died. The bulb will settle into the soil, go dormant for winter, and begin producing fresh new growth again in spring.
🌸 Plant Now for Next Season’s Blooms
These bulbs will not bloom again this season. Plant them now so they can establish in their new location and prepare for beautiful blooms in future growing seasons.
🌱 One Lily Can Become Many!
One of the most exciting features of Tiger Lilies is their ability to produce small bulbils along the stem after flowering. These bulbils are baby Tiger Lily plants that can be used to grow additional lilies.
After the plant has finished blooming and the bulbils have matured, they can be collected and planted to start new Tiger Lily plants. You may also lay a mature bulbil-covered stalk horizontally in shallow soil to encourage additional plants to establish.
