Open-Pollinated Zinnia Seeds | Mixed Colors, Shapes & Blooms

🌸 Open-Pollinated Zinnia Seeds | Mixed Colors, Shapes & Blooms 🌸

Fill your summer garden with bold color and beautiful surprises with our open-pollinated Zinnia seeds. Zinnias are one of the easiest annual flowers to grow, producing an abundance of colorful blooms throughout the growing season.

What makes these seeds especially fun is their natural diversity. Our zinnias grow together in the garden, where bees, butterflies, and other pollinators move pollen between different plants. This open pollination can produce exciting variations in color, pattern, bloom shape, size, and petal formation.

You can expect plenty of classic zinnia blooms, along with the possibility of unusual color combinations and unique flowers you may not typically find in commercially standardized varieties. Be sure to scroll through all listing photos to see examples of the diversity found throughout our gardens.

🌈 Every Plant Can Be a Surprise

Because these seeds are open-pollinated, the flowers grown from them will not necessarily bloom identical to the parent plants pictured. Colors and forms may vary from plant to plant, making each planting a colorful garden surprise.

Photos show examples of zinnias grown in our gardens and are intended to demonstrate the variety of blooms possible. Specific colors, patterns, or bloom forms cannot be guaranteed.

🌱 Easy to Grow

Zinnias love full sun and warm summer weather. Sow seeds after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. Keep the soil moist during germination and while seedlings become established.

Once established, zinnias are low maintenance and tolerate hot, dry summer conditions well.

💐 Perfect for Cut Flowers

Zinnias make fantastic cut flowers with sturdy stems and colorful blooms. Regular cutting and deadheading encourages plants to continue producing new flowers, giving you an abundant supply for bouquets throughout the season.

🐝 Open Pollination Notice

These seeds are collected from open-pollinated plants grown in our gardens. Natural cross-pollination may result in plants that differ from their parent plants.

Expect a mixture of familiar zinnias and potentially unique variations in color, size, shape, petal arrangement, and pattern. That's part of the fun—each seed has the potential to produce something a little different!

📦 Seed Storage

For best results, plant seeds during the appropriate growing season. When seeds need to be stored, keep them in a breathable paper envelope or packet in a cool, dark, dry location until planting time.
