Spineless Yucca makes an excellent houseplant and can also be grown outdoors year-round in Zones 9–11. When grown outdoors in the proper climate, mature plants can eventually develop into impressive tree-like specimens.

Because these are fresh, unrooted cuttings, buyers should not expect immediate top growth after planting. The stalk must first focus its energy on establishing a new root system. Patience is important during this process.

🌿 What to Expect After Planting

It is completely normal for some existing foliage to yellow, brown, wilt, or die back while the cutting adjusts and begins the rooting process. This does not necessarily mean the cutting has failed.

As the plant establishes, new growth emerges from the center/top of the stalk. Over time, Spineless Yucca develops its characteristic sturdy trunk with green foliage above.
